The MyAlbum Basic account offers unlimited storage for photos and videos in high quality. Upgrade to Premium to store your photos and videos in their original format. Want to download your photos or videos in their original format later (you, or someone you share the album with)? Then you need a Premium or Pro account.
With Premium or Pro, you can download the original files in two ways:
One by one
Open the album and click the photo or video you want to download. Click the three dots (…) icon at the top right and choose 'download original'. In the app, you download this way, one photo at a time.
To download a video, click the photo before or after the video and go to the video in full screen. Now you can click the three dots to download the video.
The whole album
You can download your own albums and albums you've bookmarked all at once. This only works in the browser, not in the app. On the overview page, click the album you want to download. Then click the three dots at the top right of the album and choose 'Download'. You'll get a zip file with the separate original photos.
- You can't download all your albums at once. Download them one album at a time.
- Large album not downloading properly, or can't open the zip file? Use a stable internet connection and open the file with a program like 7-Zip.
- You can't download an album as a designed PDF.
Downloading by others
You decide whether visitors can download photos and videos from your albums. With Premium or Pro, this is on by default. Change the setting per album in the menu at the top right of the album (album settings). To set it for all your albums, go to your profile.
Visitors don't need Premium or Pro themselves to download, but the album owner does. Can't download in someone else's album? Then the owner has turned it off or doesn't have Premium or Pro.
You can always download from your own albums, even if you've turned off downloading for visitors. You do need Premium or Pro for that.
