Turn on the toggle at the top to edit your album.
Suggestions
Your album is made up of pages. Click a page to edit it. At the bottom, you then see a number of other designs. Choose one you like or keep the current design. You can still adjust the design yourself afterwards.
Move photos and videos
Click a photo or video and drag it to another spot on the page. The photos or videos then swap places. Want to add a photo to another page? Hold the mouse button down for a moment while you drag the photo to that page. The photo is then added to the other page instead of swapped.
Click the library tab at the bottom and drag other photos from your album to the page you're viewing.
Add elements
Text boxes
Choose a suggestion with a text box, or add a text box with the '+ add' button. Double-click the text box to type. At the top, choose whether it's a title, subtitle or regular text. You can also add links and make text italic or bold. When you're done, click 'save' at the top right. Click the text box once to see formatting suggestions at the bottom: choose a font and adjust the alignment and the position in the text box.
One text box fits on a page and you can't change the font size. Does your text not fit in the box? Make the box bigger or split the text.
Icons
Add an icon with the '+ add' button and search for a keyword, like 'camera', 'ornament' or 'divider'. Then drag the icon to the right spot and choose the size, color and transparency at the bottom. This way you can place an icon over a photo, or use it as decoration next to a text box. Your own photo or logo can't be an icon. Add it as a photo instead.
Page
Add a new page with the '+ add' button, or drag a photo from your library between two pages.
Good to know
- In the new editor, you can't undo and you can't zoom out.
- A photo book in the new editor is always landscape.
- You can't duplicate or copy an album or page. You also can't move photos between albums: upload them again in the other album.
- A slideshow, comments, the Instagram template, the XL format, music, your name on the title page and a continuous background color are only available in the old editor.
Old editor
To edit your album, click the pencil at the top right and choose 'Open in edit mode'. In the photo book print preview, click the menu button (…) at the top right. Change the order and size by dragging the photos. You can also change the shape of your photos. In the old editor, editing works best if you leave the zoom level at 50%.
Want to edit an existing album in the new editor? In the web version (not in the app), right-click the album and choose 'convert...'. A copy of your album is then made in the new editor. The layout changes, and you can't go back to the old editor.
